Job Description:
We are hiring a Learning and Development Specialist at Kisco Senior Living.
The Specialist is a passionate learning professional with a desire for innovation of people and performance.
This role is responsible to influence, develop, and manage programs that contribute to retaining top talent through:
Onboarding, training, and development for all levels of the organization, and engagement and recognition for associates.
This can be a Hybrid or Remote position.
Our corporate office is located in Carlsbad, CA.
Travel is required to communities Nationwide to lead training events, and collaborate with and learn from associates.
What will I do every day? Associate on-boarding and training, organizational learning, career and supervisory skills development, and performance improvement.
Design, development, presentation, and evaluation of training programs and tools.
Managing the details of:
Content, programs, data, documents, and file management.
Administration of our learning management system (Relias).
Influencing learning and performance behaviors through role modeling and coaching.
Providing performance improvement and training expertise and perspective.
Maintaining effective relationships through in-person and virtual communication.
Coordinating learning and development events.

Your Background &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in HR/OD, education, adult learning, or related field preferred.
Master's degree preferred.
3-5 years' experience in training and instructional design and development, delivery of facilitated and online learning programs, and management of learning and development programs.
Certification in a learning or talent development program (e.
g.
ATD, ISPI, SHRM) is a plus.
Experience with coaching, mentorship programs, and leadership development is a plus.
What's In It For You? Starting compensation:
$75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.

This job is based out of the Kisco Home Office (in Carlsbad, CA) but you will also get work done from your remote home office and onsite in our senior living communities.
Travel:
You will travel to partner with our community teams (up to 40%).

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
