We have an immediate opening for a Research Assistant (full-time position).
This person will be involved in the R&D of medical point-of-care diagnostic products and performed all duties and tasks assigned by Supervisor.
We are seeking a person who has :
Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with extreme deadlines and deliverables.
Ability to juggle and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Experience using both Macs and PCs.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment Familiarity with laboratory and sterile techniques as well as a working knowledge of standard laboratory equipment and reagents.
Requirements:
Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Bioengineering or related field and a minimum of 1 years related work experience.
Experience in with qPCR using TaqMan.
Experience in lateral flow assay development and multiplexed ELISA and immunoassay development desired.
Strong experience in molecular biology including standard cloning techniques, vector design, sequence analysis, DNA and RNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, ligation, restriction digestion, PCR.
Have the ability and commitment to work to deadlines as part of a team.
