We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Purchasing Assistant to join our team.

The Accounting and Purchasing Assistant is an integral part of the Eufora team responsible for the accuracy of general purchasing duties and financial transactions.
The Assistant is primarily responsible for the processing of all AP invoices, daily bank reconciliation, and other general bookkeeping responsibilities.
You will work directly with the Company's Purchasing Manager and Accounting Specialist to ensure the timely and accurate processing of accounting and purchasing projects in the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system (Sage 50).
Your days will be busy! Process Accounts Payable Identify and resolve invoices with issues and route them to the appropriate party Meet monthly/quarterly deadlines and ensure all costs are posted on time Process authorized payments by check, ACH, wire, and electronic payment Import transactions from company credit card account to ERP System Freight scheduling and other purchasing reports The ideal candidate has these Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently on assigned duties and to work efficiently as a part of a team Strong understanding of and adherence to accounting and industry best practices, compliance, and policies Analytical and math skills Proficient Excel skills and acumen for quickly learning-related technologies Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines General office skills Good keyboard skills and ability to type at least 40 words per minute Proficient in Google Workspace Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent 3 years of general office experience 2 years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience 1 year purchasing experience helpful Sage 50, QuickBooks Online, or similar ERP system experience helpful College coursework in accounting helpful This is an hourly, nonexempt position.
Work hours will be 30-40 hours/week.
This is an in-office position, and no travel or remote work is required or anticipated.
