Job Description Reporting to the Senior Director of People & Culture, the People & Culture Business Partner - HQ will provide thought partnership to a portion of our Vuori Headquarters teams in the areas of talent management, organizational health, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, employee engagement, and ensuring our Vuori culture is thriving.
You will contribute to building all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
This position plays an integral role in the health and success of the organization by collaborating with key cross functional business leaders to identify, develop, and implement strategies that meet the needs of the business.
This includes developing a deep understanding of the business and the functional goals of each client group, ensuring they have the right talent, structure, culture and processes in place to drive and sustain impact.
In addition to partnering with leaders across client groups such as Marketing, E-Commerce, Operations, and Sourcing and Development, you will also work in close partnership with subject matter experts across the People and Culture team to develop these strategies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Be a thought partner to HQ leadership and team members and demonstrate success in assessing organizational health of our HQ, employee relations, coaching, performance management, career development, retention, and rewards programs to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development.
Diagnose opportunities and identify appropriate solutions, striking the right balance between speed/flexibility and process/compliance.
Prioritize effectively to deliver results both as a strategic partner and a fully embedded People & Culture partner with a deep knowledge of the organizational health of the employees at all levels of the departments you support.
Identify and leverage organizational resources across the business to inform and support our DEI strategy working closely with our DEI Manager and People and Culture team to ensure alignment with strategies related to talent acquisition, employee recognition, development, and retention.
Change management:
Lead and influence departmental or organizational change.
Partner closely with leaders to identify functional strategies and influence, design and lead relevant organizational changes to activate against strategies.
Create communication plans to effectively influence team members and departments.
Role models Vuori's culture, values and behaviors amongst the teams you support.
Uses understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate talent movement into and throughout the organization.
Key partner in support of compensation and Benefits initiatives.
Create and lead succession planning, talent reviews.
Assess the need for building manager capability through data and finding solutions to address gaps in competencies.
Contribute to the creation and implementation of People & Culture initiatives.
Partner with the Recruiting Team to identify strengths and opportunities in our hiring process, assessment of talent, and ways to improve HQ departmental capabilities in identifying and hiring top talent.
Create and partner with new leaders in an assimilation process with their teams.
Identify ways to utilize available data that will be most impactful to our Headquarters teams and influence business leaders.
Contribute to creating and implementing standards for recording employee relations issues and investigations, maintaining, and updating People and Culture related policies and procedures in our Employee Handbook and Headquarters communication channels.
Manage routine to complex employee relations issues.
Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations and partners with leadership to recommend appropriate action to resolve the issues in a timely manner.
Partner with the Senior Director of People & Culture on developing and implementing engagement tools to increase morale.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance; partner with legal department as needed/required.
Help to identify training needs for the business, partner in implementation and participate in evaluation and monitoring of success.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of People and Culture Business Partner experience in dynamic, fast-paced organizations.
PHR certification or equivalent preferred.
Extensive experience in employee relations, performance management, and federal and state employment laws (i.
e.
:
EEO, FLSA, ADA, FMLA, HIPPA, OSHA, etc.
).
Be able to work independently and exercise excellent judgment.
Be comfortable with ambiguity in an evolving, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact and diplomacy.
Well organized, plans effectively and prioritizes time according to what is most impactful.
Dependable and can be counted upon to meet deadlines and commitments.
Strong consulting and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
Strong interviewing/fact finding and decision-making skills.
Strong conflict management skills with demonstrated understanding of interpersonal relationship building.
Proven success at developing strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
Demonstrated competence in other human resource disciplines including compensation, change management, talent management, organizational diagnosis and planning, and diversity, equity and inclusion.
Relevant industry experience is a plus.
Additional Information Pay Range:
From $120,000 - $140,000 annually
