Job Description Reporting to the Senior Director of People & Culture, the HR Generalist will help support the daily functions of the People and Culture department including most areas of the employee lifecycle at HQ and stores, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and supporting and educating team members about company policies and practices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and compliance.
This includes anti-harassment training and compliance trainings.
Supports in facilitating and supporting our HQ onboarding program.
Benefits:

Responds to general benefits questions at HQ and stores.
Manages 401k requests and responds to general 401k questions at HQ and stores.
Assists in benefits renewals and initiatives.
Manage other unique health and wellness accounts such as ClassPass.

process regarding questions, paperwork, benefits.
Supports in leading culture and ETW events and in particular communication prior and post communication, executes and analyzes culture surveys, and supports employee recognition programs.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; performance and talent management; recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
Responds to general inquiries and first level issues from HQ and stores employees.
Prepare reports for management as it relates to payroll.
Maintains and updates HQ organizational charts monthly.
First review of execution of companywide communications Supports People and Culture Business Partners, Leadership in creation of communication documents for initiative work.
Helps build HRIS data in our payroll system.
Responsible for implementing into our systems change forms at it relates to HQ and stores:
job titles, reporting structure.
Audit and updating of job titles in our payroll system.
Completes unemployment verifications and EDD paperwork.
Supports in our reporting and compliance efforts.
Leads support in workers compensation claims for HQ and stores.
Supports in first level employee relations issues at HQ and stores.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Information Pay Range:
$72,000 - 85,000/yr
