Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with medical staff and providers - Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, insurance information, and contact details - Assist with medical billing and insurance claims processing - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner - Manage patient flow, ensuring efficient and organized operations within the office - Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations - Collaborate with medical staff to provide exceptional patient service and support
Experience:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or administrative assistant in a healthcare setting is preferred - Familiarity with medical records systems and terminology - Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients - Proficiency in scheduling appointments using electronic systems (e.
g.
