Our Guest Service Agent responsibilities include answering multi-line phones, taking reservations, checking guests in/out and assisting guests with all inquiries.
Applicant must have basic computer and math skills, must be able to multi-task, be organized, very detail oriented, able to work under pressure, have the ability to solve problems in a professional manner, and to perform other duties assigned by the Hotel Manager.
A neat and professional appearance and a passion for guest services are required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
This position requires the ability to work hours between 7 am to 10:
30 pm.
This position requires the ability to cover grave yard shifts on a needed basis 10:
45 pm-7:
15 am.
This only happens on an occasional basis, but something to keep in mind.
This position also requires full availability on weekends and holidays! The qualifications for the Front Desk Agent position are:
High school degree or equivalent.
Prior experience in hospitality industry strongly preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Acute attention to detail.
Computer and math skills.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Must maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
Pleasant and positive telephone demeanor is a must.
Ability to clearly communicate in English with guests and co-workers in person, via telephone, and in writing is required.
Prior PMS Cashiering experience is required.
