Responsibilities:
Handle all duties in a timely manner Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff Communicate with insurance companies for proper authorization for Imaging and or procedures Escort patients to and from exam / procedure rooms Acquiring Vital Signs including temp Taking and charting of medical health history / health history and any information pertaining to the visit Assisting the physician with medical procedures utilizing both clean and sterile technique Scanning and uploading documents Data Entry for tracking patient outcomes Medication administration Inventory and stocking of all medical supplies Phlebotomy and lab processing Assisting the physician with charting during Telehealth visits Scribing for the physician during new patient visits Utilization of equipment such as Ultrasound, Fluoroscope, O2, Autoclave and other devices in office.
Recovering patients (including providing post-op instruction, bandaging, bracing, etc) Reviewing pricing for procedures and scheduling patient visits
Qualifications:
5 years' experience in Healthcare.
Experience in Orthopedics but not needed.
You must have experience as a Medical Assistant, Clinical Assistant or equivalent other related field.
EMR experience Strong organizational skills / attention to detail Ability to thrive in a cutting edge concierge environment Professionalism and showing excellence in patient care Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology Reliable Able to work independently expressing leadership qualities and as a team Able to take direction from the physicians and management Able to work a 40hr work week
