50 an hour 13 days ago 13 days ago 13 days ago We are seeking a Quality Inspector for our San Diego, CA office who will be primarily responsible for ensuring incoming material/components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods meet internal specifications by performing inspections per released inspection plans.
Responsibilities for this Role Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Good Documentation Practice guidelines (SOPs, WIs, GDP) Completion of inspections (receiving, in-process, finished goods) per released inspection plans both inside and outside of cleanroom Initiation of NCMR's and notification of Quality when any nonconformance is identified Verify incoming supplier documentation meets internal requirements Assist in performing routine preventive maintenance on CLPT tools and equipment Effectively communicate cross-functionally with production operators, purchasing, quality engineering, and manufacturing engineering to resolve any documentation discrepancies in a timely matter Support Operations with production builds Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on production needs and project deadlines Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications 3
years of experience in medical devices or related highly regulated field preferred (e.
g.
aerospace) GMP, GDP, ISO and procedural compliance and training to quality system requirements Quality Inspector Certification (QIC) Attention to detail Proficiency with various mechanical measurement tools:
calipers, pin gages, thread gages, etc.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings General computer skills and experience with Microsoft office applications Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English Job Type:
