Billing Clerk

3E Company is currently hiring for a Billing Clerk. This position aims to expedite the billing process. The individual will be responsible for quality control processes to ensure accuracy of information entered into the billing system. This position will be based at our corporate headquarters in Carlsbad, CA.
Fully accountable for daily cash posting, including researching customer accounts, data entry into GP and PS, reconciling short pays, scanning and filing
Enter Accounts Receivable adjustments and confirm postings
Verify invoices for Billing Coordinators.
Daily sorting and distribution of mail
Audit recurring reports and provide Billing Manager with findings
Print Dunning letters, invoice copies and statements as required by Collections
Update Excel files with data provided in other files and reports
Scanning, copying, filing
Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements:
Experience with Microsoft office products and an ERP accounting system
Ability to follow directions
Team player with the ability to work well with multiple personalities.
Ability to work flexible hours as necessary to meet goals
Organized and detail oriented
Educational background in Accounting and/or 1-2 years related experience a plus or equivalent experience or a level of education that, together with experience and training, enables the applicant to demonstrate the required knowledge and experience. High School Diploma or equivalency required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
