POSITION OVERVIEW
The Siebel Developer is directly responsible for configuration and scripting of Siebel user interface, workflow and business services. This person will be responsible for managing the full life cycle development to customize and enhance Siebel CRM Application (Ver. 8) including detailed design, configuration, documentation, testing, and deployment. This individual provides hands-on mentoring to the team and works closely with project managers to complete key initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with business analysts and project managers to provide development support assigned by either the Manager or Senior Siebel Developer for existing Siebel application.
Provide technical design recommendation by evaluating new and modified functionality to meet business and IT needs.
Write technical design documentation that will provide the solution as defined in the business requirement.
Execute project implementation by delivering project tasks within the development due dates.
Provide 3rd level production support for bug fixes and enhancements by performing a diagnosis of the issue and delivering a solution.
Work closely with the Senior Siebel Developers during project implementation.
Develop code that adheres to the Company's Siebel coding standards and best practices.
Responsible for Siebel Configuration duties including:
Manage Siebel development environments and Siebel Tools
Create and modify Siebel objects as defined in business requirements including business objects, business components, applets, views, screens, business service, pick lists, workflows, SmartScripts and Siebel base tables
Develop error handling, risk mitigation and bug notification for all scripted solutions
Responsible for providing unit system testing and documentation for all code delivered to QA.
Ensure that all development items follow the defined SDLC and task tracking process and provide necessary documentation for Change Managements.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
Siebel Configuration 2
years
EAI Web Services 1
years
EAI (VBC, external APIs) 1
years
Experience with Siebel 8.x
Experience working with Agile methodology
Configuration knowledge of Siebel Tools, Workflow, Siebel eScript, and Business Services
Some experience with web service integration using a SOA architecture Some experience with integration techniques to pass data in/out of Siebel (EAI, VBC, MQ, HTTP)
Some experience designing solutions using Assignment Manager, Email Integration, Workflow Policies, ODBC, LDAP Authentication, Siebel Communication Manager, and ADM.
Some experience working with Data Modelers and DBA to do data mapping to accommodate data structure changes
Experience with writing PLSQL and Oracle 10g and 11g experience Knowledge of Siebel environments, architecture and security administration
Proven experience in successful development and delivery of at least one complex full lifecycle Siebel implementations
Experience with SmartScript development a plus
Experience with data loading using EIM is a plus
Experience with Siebel Open UI a plus
Databases/DB utilities experience required: Oracle 10g, SQL Plus, SQL Loader, TOAD (or equivalent)
Languages desired: PL/SQL, XML, Siebel eScript, HTML, JavaScript.
Desktop Tools knowledge desired: Microsoft Office including Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
Operating Systems knowledge desired: Windows 2003/2008; Linux (Red Hat preferred), Unix
Knowledge of the Siebel application architecture and data model
