POSITION SUMMARY Sr.
Director of PPI is responsible for driving a culture of PPI that contributes to the company's overall goals and success.
The Sr.
Director will report to the Vice President, Operations for Life Science Group and will partner with Divisional and Functional leaders to create a shared vision, inspire collaboration, influence key leaders without authority and drive change with momentum.
The incumbent will have a proven history of running a highly disciplined PPI/ Lean mechanism, delivering on results and exceptional functional leadership skills building the teams capabilities to be the best in industry.
Proven leadership is critical to this role, with the demonstrated ability to influence and motivate teams.
Key
Responsibilities:
Lead by example and embed company culture as the foundation of the PPI strategyPromote a culture of high performance and continuous business process improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality and creates visible change.
Encourage risk taking and experimentation using the scientific method within the organizationEliminate barriers by enabling effective communication about lean strategy & deploymentBring expertise to support of multi-functional efforts in PPI, transformational change and engagement.
Lead efforts to deepen our knowledge of customers (drivers, gaps, and opportunities) across Life Sciences groupLead teams to a proactive and anticipatory approach resulting in enhanced customer experiences.
Consistently consider the viewpoint of the customer when making decisions, creating processes, defining expected behavior, and developing strategy.
Manage, develop and motivate PPI team to deliver relevant and actionable outcomes that directly impact strategic initiatives and key performance indicators across the Life Sciences Group.
Institutionalize learnings and align execution with the Company Fisher PPI Business System.
Support sites and PPI leaders to enhance mechanisms to teach, mentor and learn Lean Principles within the organizationLead and participate in Kaizen and PPI workshops.
Be the subject matter experts in Lean principles, six sigma philosophies and tools and Company Fisher PPI Business SystemBe a coach and developer of Lean/PPI Knowledge across the orgCommunicate organization performance and priorities to executive leadership
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus10
years of managing successful projects and change management programs with prior experience working in the Toyota Production System (TPS), Danaher Business System (DBS), Honeywell Operating System (HOS), Factory Physics Execution (FPX), or other recognized Lean business system modelsExceptional communication skills.
Able to deliver clear messages to a wide variety of audiences.
Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and manage execution.
High energy, team oriented and results focused.
Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence different styles.
Experienced in navigating ambiguity and change with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Track record of customer-centric decision-making.
Comfortable leading and facilitating kaizen like workshops and large group sessions.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
